How should EMLA Cream be administered?

Emla cream must be used as directed on the label. You should use it sparingly and in as small a dose as possible. It is best to stop using it at least 4 hours before your appointment.

This cream can be absorbed by your body in greater amounts than you need. Only use the minimum amount. The cream may perform better if you cover your skin. Ask your GP first.

Remember to keep your items at room temperature, away from heat and moisture.
